I am a Canadian artist living in Ottawa, Ontario with my husband, daughter and our cat Mittens.  I grew up in the Ottawa Valley surrounded by over 40 acres of nature, always creating.  My need to create led me to a career as an architect before returning to my passion for painting.  

When I am not in my backyard studio my family and I are often somewhere in the wilderness with a paddle and a paintbrush.  There's something magical about being out on the water, surrounded by nature.  It's these experiences that inspire me to create art that captures the essence of these landscapes.
